Every year, the city of New Orleans collects over 25 million pounds of Mardi Gras “throws” glass beads to plastic trinkets that are tossed to enthusiastic party goers, or land on the streets as debris. Here’s a thought what would a conscious event look like that would literally recycle the waste into art into viable products or sellable works of art?
