Chef Mariah Casimier,  better known as Chef Rah is described as a vibrant personality with an enthusiastic outlook on living. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, her reputation is one built on business savvy, cultivating authentic connections, and her mouth watering patisseries. 

As a young child, she recalls fond memories of baking with her grandmother. Those memories provide the inspiration to Sweet Treats. A,gourmet vegan dessert brand featuring delicious baked goods as oatmeal cookies, brownies, and her signature pound cakes with names as Triple Berry or Lemon Blueberry. Expect a quality experience sent to their taste buds. She’s able to attract both the non-vegan and vegan alike.

By age 14,  The Food Network celebrity chefs served to provide one on one coaching as her attention was drawn on expanding current baking skills.  At 18, armed with her grandmothers wisdom and recipes under tow she attended a culinary school in Thibodaux, Louisiana. 

From 2011-2015, Mariah Casimier graduated from the well respected Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University.  The extensive culinary training furthered her classic baking techniques to advance food preparation and desserts. With these influences and her grandmothers recipes have been improved on to accommodate a plant based, vegan recipes.

 

Chef Rah’s popularity as Sweet Treats by Rah has placed her as a popular vegan pastry chef in the New Orleans area, whose loyal customers expect the “wow” factor for the weddings, birthday parties and other monumental events.

 

To present date, Rah has reinvented herself and has relocated to Houston, Texas. Her new brand Eating Clean With Rah continues to focus on healthy eating focusing on customized meal and detox plans.
